Guy Philippe has filed a lawsuit against several U.S. authorities in his criminal case and also claims compensation of $ 100 million.
Phillipe accused former U.S. ambassadors to Haiti and federal prosecutors of violating his civil rights, claiming he was kidnapped in Haiti by unknown Drug Enforcement Administration agents who fired shots at his security personnel.
The former police commissioner also asserted in 22 pages of handwritten that prosecutors presented "false evidence and perjured testimony" to obtain his conviction in Miami federal court.
