Los Angeles FC signs Haitian teenage Striker

Los Angeles FC has signed Haitian 18-year-old attacker Steeve Saint-Duc, the team announced on Tuesday.

“At just 18 years old, Steeve has the best years of his career ahead of him,” said LAFC EVP of soccer operations and general manager John Thorrington in a team release.

“We look forward to helping Steeve with his development and continued growth as a professional.”

Saint-Duc, captained Haiti’s U-17 squad at the CONCACAF U-17 Championship last year, will be added to LAFC’s roster when the secondary transfer window opens on July 10.

A product of Haiti’s youth national team, Saint-Duc was named Most Valuable Player after earning Golden Boot honors at the Caribbean Football Union’s 2016 U-17 Championship.
