Chile eases visa requirements for Haitians
Haitians will now need fewer documents to obtain a visa to Chile at the consulate in Port-au-Prince, the chilean government announced on Monday.
The new changes will grant temporary residence for at least a year to those who enter the country.
Reports say the country will start giving out a simple 30-day tourist visa on April 16.
The new migration policies come just months after the country elected its new president, Sebastian Piñera.
