Erik Prince to send forces to Haiti

The security firm of former U.S. Navy Seal Erik Prince will soon deploy nearly 200 personnel from various countries to Haiti.

The deployment by Vectus Global is meant to help the government of Haiti recover vast swaths of territory seized by heavily armed gangs.

Vectus Global began its operations in Haiti in March, Reuters reported, mostly through the use of drones in coordination with a government task force.
