Starting July 15th, Eastern Airlines has been approved to offer flights between New York, NY (JFK) and Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
Flights between the two cities with fares starting at $299 (one way) including free checked baggage.
"We look forward to bringing customers the best value available with one free checked bag (up to 70 lbs.) on every flight, with every fare, said Phil Bakes.
Note that the Eastern company recently purchased a Boeing 777 and is also in domestic service in the United States between the cities of New York and San Diego, California.
