Haiti names new Chargé d'Affaires to Qatar
Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) HE Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al Hammadi received on Wednesday a copy of the credentials of chief of Mission and Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Qatar.
The MoFA official wished Francois Guillaume II success in his duties, assuring him of all support to promote bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
Before his appointment, Mr. Guillaume II served as Haiti’s Minister of Haitians Living Abroad from April 2014 to January 2015. He had also served in 2011 as the Consul General of the Republic of Haiti in Miami.
François Guillaume II is an economist with decade long experience in finance. In 2004, he had served as a consultant for the economic development to the council of Governor Bush’s Haiti Advisory Group that drafted the comprehensive policy recommendations on economic, environmental and security to the Government of Haiti.
