Jovenel Moïse met with IMF Managing Director

On the sidelines of the week-long United Nations General Assembly 73rd meeting in New York, President Jovenel Moïse met on Wednesday with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the country’s economic outlook and the various challenges facing its economy.

Madame Lagarde reiterated the IMF’s commitment to continue to support the Haitian administration in promoting economic growth and poverty alleviation.”
