2 Police Officers Shot in Haiti

Two policemen were killed on Monday during clashes with armed gangs at the Bolosse Avenue, a neighborhood not far from Martissant, south of thecapital Port- au-Prince. Early this morning officers from the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO) conducted a large operation, aimed at dislodging bandits who sow terror for several days in this sector.
